A rocky island located in the biggest bay in Europe, the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey - rightly named the Marvel of the Western World - is still one of the most famous pilgrimage centers since the Middle Ages - an unforgettable visit.

Your first sight of the Mont, either dominating the white beaches between Normandy and Brittany or emerging from the ocean at high tide, will be an unforgettable experience.

The legend says that in the 8th century, Archangel St. Michel appeared to the local bishop and ordered him to build a chapel on top of a 258 foot high mount. An abbey quickly followed which, in order to accommodate the ever growing number of pilgrims from all over Europe, was constantly embellished and enlarged with new construction, sometimes built on top of each other. However, the result is of surprising harmony - one of medieval Europe's masterpieces and architectural wonders.

Summary:

Hotel pick-up and drop-off are NOT included with this tour. This tour departs from a central location in Paris; details will be provided on your E-Ticket. Rates are per person and in US dollars. Reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-871-4431. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Itinerary

Drive through the Normandy region. Arrival at the Mont-Saint-Michel at around 11:30 am. Lunch including the famous "La Mère Poulard" Omelette will be served at the "Relais St Michel" restaurant facing the Mont-St-Michel. Then drive to the parking lot at the foot of the mount and enjoy a guided visit of the Abbey followed by free time. At approximately 4:30 pm we will depart on our return to Paris. Arrival in Paris is approximately 9:15 pm.
