Le Tour de France of Wine in Paris
Le Tour de France of Wine was designed for people with an interest in delicious wine and who drink it but would like to learn more about it. If you know the grapes you like but would like to learn more about the French regions, then your coming to France and learning about French wine would be a good thing to do – maybe just for the sake of being able to order the wines you like at a restaurant.
Six wines (including one Champagne) coming from 6 different regions of France will be served – always with generosity. From Champagne to Bordeaux, from Sancerre to the Rhone, just sit back and enjoy the Tour de France of Wine in style.
Minimum age is 5; children 5-16 may not attend unaccompanied; minimum age to legally consume alcoholic beverages in France is 18 but 17-year-olds may do so with a parent present and approving.

More on the Itinerary
With a unique and refreshing approach, your sommelier will take you through a variety of themes to build up your wine knowledge. Your sommelier will teach you how to read a French wine label, and also clarify concepts like terroir or appellation.
This tasting class is both informative and fun. In just two hours, you will learn a lot, and will taste good French wines. Then at 7 pm or so, you're free to enjoy the rest of your Parisian evening! You’ll find this tasting to be the best of all Paris activities.
All the wines you will taste are available for sale (plus many more too – just ask your sommelier). Frequently Asked Questions
What is your policy with children and teenagers? -- Participants who are 17 years old may taste wine if accompanied by their parents who allow them to do so. Children ages 5 to 16 are welcome on the tour but their wine glasses will be kept full - with WATER!
Are your tastings in English? -- Yes. The tastings are - by default - in English. However, you may request another language in advance: French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, German, Portuguese.
Which Champagnes will we taste? -- Good ones - usually one Brut, one Demi-sec and one Rosé. All of the selections of Champagne are remarkable. The selection should help you learn more about French Champagne, and discover what you really like and why.
Do I need to bring anything? -- No. Just your smile and maybe your camera!
Any pre-tasting advice? -- Maybe. Make sure you don't brush your teeth right before the tasting, that would limit your perceptions and pleasure in drinking wine!
What's your tipping policy? -- Tipping is not mandatory at all. Yet, if you are satisfied with the service provided, your host will be pleased to accept your tip. The Wine Tastings are not "service compris" (as restaurants are, for instance).
